Since Salesians birth in Pakistan, we have been engaged in responding to natural disasters not only in providing them with emergency relief but also helping them in reconstruction and rehabilitation phase on humanitarian grounds. Don Bosco Mission Pakistan supported more than 10,000 families of vulnerable communities in Pakistan through food and non-food items, medical support, and shelter during 2005 and 2008 devastating earthquakes, 2010 mega floods in which thousands of precious human lives were lost along with widespread destruction. Salesians in Pakistan also supported Afghan children during Afghan Refugees crisis, in which we provided them free of cost quality education. In addition to this Don Bosco Mission Pakistan also constructed 6 earthquake resilient schools in KPK and 1 in Baluchistan, whereas 6 flood resilient mosques were also constructed in Sindh.
